[Close Year][Item Setup] – Inactive items are not deleted after performing the Close Year process.

STEPS:
=> Create DB and Create few inactive items.
=> Perform close year and observe items in item setup.

NOTE: This issue exists in 14.0.25 & 26.0.4 Version-04 Applications too.
