[File Menu] Application becomes unresponsive after closing the Check Writing screen using the 'X' button.

Description:
After closing the Check Writing screen using the 'X' (Close) button, the application becomes unresponsive after closing the Check Writing screen. No screens or menus can be opened, including the File menu. The application can only be used again after doing a force quit and relaunching it.
