Complete the required setup and assign COAs, customers/vendors, and items with item codes.
Create and save multiple purchases and invoices.
In View Preferences, enable Show Code Field on Report.
Open the Item Report.
Check the Available Options in all report formats.

Issue 1 – Code Field Alignment
The Code field is not consistently aligned across the Available Options.

Issue 2 – Code Field Display
In some report formats, the Code is displayed in a separate column.
In other formats, the Code is displayed together with the Item Name.

Expected result:
The Code field should have consistent alignment and should be displayed in the same format across all Available Options.

Code field will be shown separately for Sales Summary and Purchase Summary report if "Show code field on report" is opted. For Sales/Purchase Detail report Item code will be showing together as more number of columns we have to show. there will be no space to show column as separate field. 

only in csv we have resolved. If "Show code field on report" is not selected then code column is showing with blank. that we have stopped.

#1. Without selecting the Show Code Field on Report option, all the mentioned options work as expected, based on the comments.

#2. When the “Show Code Field on Report” option is selected, the following issues are observed in the generated reports. 
a)Code Missing in Text File
Report Type: Sales summary and purchase summary
File Format: Text File.

b)In the Code column, the date range is displayed incorrectly. The details in the other columns should be aligned consistently with the corresponding previous columns.
Report Type: sales detail, purchase detail.
File format: CSV File.

NOTE: As per the comments, for the Sales/Purchase Detail report, the item code will be shown together, so the code column does not need to be displayed in the CSV.
