Bug 20327

Complete the basic setup (COAs, Items, Vendors).
Create an Item Purchase in January and save.
Create another Item Purchase in March and save.
Open Item Reports → Inventory-selected date.
Select the report month-wise (January, February, March) using the Selected Date filter.
Observe the inventory quantities displayed for each month.

Actual Result
January: Displays the item setup quantity plus the January purchase quantity.
February: Since no transaction exists, only the item setup quantity is displayed.
March: Displays only the item setup quantity plus the March purchase quantity.
The inventory balances from previous months are not carried forward to subsequent months.

Expected Result
Inventory balances should be cumulative across months. If no transaction occurs in an intermediate month, the previous month's balances should be carried forward.
